Step Your Game Up
Nintendo…its time to step your game up. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the sole reason why I purchased a Wii this year. Saying that I am disappointed just doesn’t cut it. When it comes to online play, SSBB has got to be the game that every Wii owner was waiting for. Lets start off with the notion of friend codes. I guess in the Mushroom Kingdom, creating a username is tougher than exchanging a 12 digit number. I could look past that if everything else were on the up and up, but then again, this wouldn’t be a “Step Your Game Up” post. Once you put your friends on your list, you can’t take on the world together. No. That would be too much. Instead you get to brawl together…something we already did on the couch. Ok so I can’t play against the world with my buddy. At least I can take on the world by myself………………….in 2 minute battles A.K.A the mode that NOBODY brawls in. You mean to tell me that I can play against random people online but I can only play 2 minute battles. Preposterous. What a way to drop the ball Nintendo. It cant be all bad you say. Its only 4 players at once so it cant possibly lag. You see where I am going with this. Nintendo is blaming the game’s connection issues on the amount of players logging in at once. Why, Thank You Captain Obvious! This is the premiere Wi-Fi game for your system. What the hell did you expect. Also, Its 2008 and the Wii doesn’t have voice chat. I was able to trash talk on the Dreamcast in 2001. Seriously Nintendo…Step Your Game Up…

Well my Xbox360 Died. It was stricken with the incurable disease known as the Red Ring of Death. I tried everything I could to save her. But in the end…I had no choice but to pull the plug. I was lucky enough to buy a warranty at my Gamestop so I exchanged it right the next day. But since Gamestop no longer offers 360 warranties(care to take a guess as to why that is), My 360’s life is now in Microsoft’s hands. Due to the large amount of horror stories I have heard across the net, I am not looking forward to it…
